My work often resembles nature - water, plants and flowers, butterflies and moths etc. In the process of making these works, I have allowed the medium (ink) to do its own thing - placing them all down on the paper at the same time so that they dry with an even surface tension - resulting in the organic images you see here. The outcome reflects the "nature" of the inks themselves. They are of the utmost quality, with vibrant colours unlike any other material I've used before. They play alongside and with one another in ways that excite and fascinate me. I've made these works on a larger scale for a more immersive colour experience.
